Annex 3 – Steering Effort Measurement
Enables the measurement of the maximum force (Newton) and torque applied by the driver to rotate the steering wheel.
- Universal Quick-Mount System: Adjustable clamp system compatible with all steering wheel diameters, including trucks, buses, and passenger vehicles.
- Integrated High-Resolution Torque Sensor: Equipped with a high-precision Kistler torque sensor (Accuracy: ±0.1 Nm).
PC-Independent Operation and Continuous Data Management
Standalone Testing
Thanks to its high-performance integrated control unit, the STU can manage the entire testing process independently without requiring an external PC connection.
Integrated Control Interface
Tests can be initiated via the graphical display on the device, and real-time measurement data can be monitored instantly.
Data Transfer via USB
Once the test is completed, all high-resolution graphical data and measurement results can be directly transferred to a USB flash drive in CSV format.
Plug-and-Play Analytics
The USB flash drive can be connected to any workstation, allowing advanced data analysis to be easily performed using standard spreadsheet software such as Excel.
